Get involved in the decarbonisation drive sweeping across North Yorkshire

Align is at the forefront of an exciting decarbonisation drive across North Yorkshire – and we want other suppliers to get involved.

Our national-award winning team have been retrofitting hundreds of homes to help drive down residents’ energy bills and tackle fuel poverty in partnership with North Yorkshire Council.

As a council-owned company, our commitment to providing warm, energy-efficient homes has been recognised nationally and widely praised by residents and industry experts alike.

This year, we and the council are preparing to roll out a wave of further improvements at hundreds of homes affected by problems such as poor-quality insulation and ineffective heating systems.

To help achieve this, we will be launching a new £300m framework and are particularly looking for bids from suppliers who can take on the role of principal contractors, or groups of suppliers who come together providing one or more of the services required as part of a group or consortium.

We are due to issue the tender documents for this opportunity on January 23rd, 2025.

The managing director of Align, Ron Walton, said: “Sustainability is at the heart of what we do, and by working with the council, we have provided hundreds of residents, businesses and other organisations with vital energy-saving advice and solutions.

“We are excited about maintaining this momentum in 2025 through this decarbonisation drive in North Yorkshire.”

Our multi-disciplinary team has over a decade of experience in delivering a wide range of building projects across many sectors.

With offices spanning across the North, we have delivered over 1,000 projects with a capital value in excess of £500 million to clients.
